With our origional ideas. We all really liked the woman's rights ideas. Some of us weren't too keen on it however. But after looking further into woman's rights we realised we could link lots of different ideas together.
For example I wanted to do do something world war based, so we managed to use that as a part of our piece because women weren't allowed to fight on the front line. They technically still aren't. So we found something online where a man argues with a woman about whey wines should fight on the front line. The ironic thing is that the man is saying why they should and the woman why they shouldn't. So I feel this will make people question the thought of women in the front line.
We have started working on the arranged marriage idea. Where I play Freya's dad. And Tom and Ellie are the parents of dom. We are basically forcing the both to marry each other. Freya feels like she should find love by falling in love. And dom is very much like his father where he calls a wife a requirement and it's not something to look forward to. The women are literally forced into these marriages without a say because of tradition and religion. This should have an immensly powerful effect on our audience
